Real Estate in Ventura County
Buying or selling real estate in Ventura County has its own challenges. For example, some buyers from Santa Barbara are often delighted that the homes seem so "inexpensive" compared to homes in Santa Barbara, while homebuyers from other areas often have the opposite reaction. One thing that few disagree with is that Ventura County is a great place to live and work!
Ventura may have the same climate and view of the islands as Santa Barbara, but in our opinion Ventura is a better place to live for most people. Its closer to Los Angeles, but 'just far enough away' at the same time. The full range of home costs are on display here, from the most luxurious hillside homes with views of the Channel Islands, to more modest homes among the lemon scented orchards that surround us.
